What’s your name?
Ann-Marie
What is something you would like Soupsters to know about you?
Soup gave me the basis to build a life in the Bay Area when I moved here. I got an apartment, a roommate, playdates for my nieces, and all sorts of things from The Soup list.
What’s your favorite thing about The Soup?
Building community that does more than play together, although the play part is important.
What is one thing you hope might happen at The Soup?
Kids running free.
If a giant pile of Soupsters showed up on your doorstep wanting to make the world a better place, where would you have them start?
Call Steve. Or, by teaching the ones who don't know how, to build. Once people can build, we can build gardens, homes for people, and so much more.
What is a memory of Soup that makes you smile?
There are so many, but I'll go with Tamson, Josiah, and Jim fingerpainting themselves then running around Soup as blue-green forest sprites.
Anything else you would like us to know?
I've bonded with my partner, met some of my best friends, learned, and played hard at Soup. Every year I'm blown away by the heart, especially in the hard pieces.
